The Orchestra’s Spring concert for 2024
Saturday 20th April, 2024 at 7.30pm
For it's spring 2024 concert the Orchestra presented an exciting mix of light music to please all tastes, from Mozart (Overture to 'The marriage of Figaro') through Sullivan and Grieg ('Iolanthe' overture and 'Peer Gynt Suit No. 1') to the film music of Howard Shore (Symphonic Suite from 'The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring') and much more. The concert was conducted by David Anstice-Pim and Nigel Steele delighted the audience with a selecton of short piano solos.
